This is the story of how the market for student caps, school & student clothing and other student accessories was changed by three young guys. It is also about the way Swedes celebrate their school graduation today. It started when Alexander, Katuk and Marcus graduated together in Täby, outside Stockholm in 2003. They thought traditions were fun, but they could do more, much more.
This began something that ultimately changed the market and the traditions fundamentally. From buying a student cap in a store to customizing the entire cap, year in, year out, inspiring stepping stones into the future. Joy, tradition and memories became the order of the day.
Creating satisfied customers and an unwavering conviction have meant that the company has received several prestigious awards since its inception in 2003, including the award as Gazelle-winner of the Year in Täby, a Gazelle-company, and the award as one of Sweden’s best workplaces according to Great Place to Work.
ABC-Gruppen is today Sweden’s largest supplier of student caps and is currently represented in both Sweden and Denmark. ABC-Gruppen is part of the AMI group, which operates in the Nordic countries. Through AMI, ABC-Gruppen secures its opportunities to meet customers’ high demands for efficient logistics and e-commerce by focusing on quality and innovation.
